Perry Como In Loving Memory May 18, 1912-May 12, 2001
Words are hard to find to truly do this wonderful man justice, But I just
wanted to say I will miss him terribly and want to send my
heartfelt sympathies to his family. I have been a fan of Mr. Como's since I was
a very small child. I loved him dearly and always have. The news of his death has hit me
very hard
and this is almost like losing my own father ( another big fan) all over again.
At one time in the late 1990's I had several pages up on the internet about Mr. Como, but
I found them to be inadequate
in paying tribute to this legendary
man I respected so much, so I removed them. Now I feel really bad I didn't try harder.
It takes a lot of dedication
and effort to make a tribute to a great person. Please visit
this wonderful site by my friend George. He has done so much for
Mr. Como.
He may be gone from our lives physically, but we know our Heavenly Father and Perry's dear wife are with him now, and Mr. Como is singing happily with the angels. We will always love him and thank God for giving us Perry's wonderful smile and beautiful music. They will remain with us "Til The End of Time". God bless you always Mr. C and Thank you. |
